The 2011 CAFE Challenge is now history.  Pipestrel won, with a Siamese twin version of the Tarus sailplane.  We had to settle for second place in this excellent competition.

Along with Eric Raymond in the cockpit was the World's best sailplane pilot, Klaus Ohlmann.

The E-Genius was built by the University Stuttgart in Germany as a student project.
